Mr. Shrestha is the Founder and Director of Sombotta High School, where he has demonstrated exceptional expertise in strategic planning, curriculum development, and the leadership of high-performing teams. With over 20 years of experience in education management, he has been deeply committed to fostering academic excellence and holistic student development. His key responsibilities include shaping the school’s strategic vision, designing and implementing innovative curricula, leading staff recruitment and professional development, managing financial operations, engaging with the community, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. Beyond the education sector, Mr. Shrestha is actively engaged in business leadership. He currently serves as the Chairman of Team Venture Fund Limited and as a Director of Upper Syange Hydropower Limited and White Lotus Power Company Limited.

Mr. Bir Bahadur Ghale, is the main promoter and initiator of Upper Syange Hydropower Project with an experience of 26 years. He started in 1991 when he developed 130 KW micro hydropower plant in Barpark, Gorkha.

Mr. Saurav Dhakal is a social entrepreneur, storyteller, and sustainability advocate with diverse leadership experience across renewable energy, sustainable agriculture, urban development, and community engagement. He is the Co-founder of StoryCycle (2014), an organization that uses storytelling as a tool for advocacy, education, and community empowerment. Through narratives, he has promoted environmental conservation, social justice, and sustainability initiatives. In 2015, he took on the role of Food Curator at GreenGrowth, where he managed the value chain of organic products and producers, promoting sustainable agriculture and advancing the “farm-to-home” culture by connecting local farmers directly with consumers. In 2024, he was appointed Chairperson of Upper Syange Hydropower Limited (USHL), where he currently provides strategic leadership, oversees stakeholder engagement, and ensures compliance with regulatory requirements for the company’s hydropower operations. Mr. Dhakal has also contributed to multiple other initiatives, including: Campaign Director-Dream City (2017), a citizen-led campaign for rebuilding and reimagining sustainable cities. Online Course Designer (2024), developing e-learning resources on sustainability and innovation. He did Researcher Sustainable Urban Mobility, Asian Institute of Technology (June 2024).Team Leader Youth Cohort on Green Solutions, fostering young leaders in climate and sustainability action. E-Module Designer – Urban KARESA, integrating women micro-entrepreneurs into the digital economy. Mr. Dhakal Engagement in tourism research and promotion activities, supporting sustainable tourism development. Through these roles, Mr. Dhakal continues to advance sustainable solutions, community-driven development, and innovative approaches to climate resilience and green growth.

Deepika Gyawali is a board members of Upper Syange Hydropower and co-founder of Green Growth Group which is a Food Tech Company with the objective to promote healthy food and create awareness of healthy food consumption. She also promotes the energy sector.

Mr. Shrestha is finance professional with over eight years of diverse experience in financial analysis, credit assessment, equity investment, valuation, research, and private equity. He is a qualified member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA). He currently serves as Director at Summit Fund Limited and Alternative Director at Annapurna Machha Dana Udhyog Limited and Upper Syange Hydropower Limited. Mr. Shrestha holds an MBA from CG Institute of Management, affiliated with Limkokwing University.

Ms. Tripathi is the newly elected board member of this hydropower. She completed her MBS from TU and has been working as an accountant since 15 years in ADMC Engineering Pvt. Ltd.

Ms. Mani Thapa has 35 years of experience in the banking sectors. She was engaged in Council of International Fellow as a Board Member and also contributed in an International Social Organization (INGO). Currently, Ms. Thapa is involved in textile and restaurant businesses.

Mr. Bij Ghale holds an MBA in Finance from Uniglobe College, affiliated with Pokhara University, where he also completed his BBA. He began his professional career in 2020 in the solar energy sector, serving as an Accounting Officer at Everest Solar Energy Pvt. Ltd. Currently, he is working as the Company Secretary and Head of Administration & Human Resources at Upper Syange Hydropower Limited. In this role, he is responsible for overseeing corporate governance, administrative operations, and human resource management, contributing significantly to the company’s organizational growth and compliance.
